Easter Morning
The Easter Bunny came to our house and left a note for our family:
On it were instructions to find the family Easter Basket
Daddy reading Brody the letter while Brody eats the breakfast that daddy made for us. Thank you daddy. After reading the letter we went in search for the Easter Basket. And silly me I didnt get a picture of what the Easter Basket actually had in it but it had candy, games, a new baby Einstein video, jewelry for brookie, and toys.
The Easter Bunny then hid a bunch of eggs around the house and Brody loved finding them.

FOR THE LOVE OF THE GAME
Brody has two favorite things in his life: his doggie and sports! He loves to play sports all day long. Now that the weather is nicer we find ourselves outside playing catch almost everyday. When the weather is not so nice he is inside playing basketball. He loves to play sports. When we play baseball it is mostly me trying to throw it in his mitt but he drops it and throws it back to me. Or I throw it far and we chase after the ball to see who can get to it first. The other day he actually slid into home (or should I say he slid to get to the ball before me). It was really cute. I love the little dude and how he finds joy in sports.

Conference Weekend April 2009
Wow I cannot believe that we are already at conference weekend again and I am posting another set of pictures. On Saturday morning Josh built an airplane for Brody, I made cinnamon rolls (a tradition in our home), and Brooklyn played with her toys. We set up the couch in front of our computer screen so we could enjoy the sessions in comfort (although we still ended up on the floor with the kids). Anyways in between sessions on Saturday we flew Brody's kite outside our house. On Sunday we went to the beach before the morning session. It was such a wonderful weekend to spend all of it with Josh home. That is such a luxury these days. But enough about all the fun we had...i completely agree with what my sister in law said that conference weekend is like a vacation. I feel spiritually uplifted and ready to face the world again. There were so many favorite talks that it is hard to name them all. I told my mom that my favorites are probably the ones I need to work on the most. I know that this is the true church. I know that Joseph Smith saw God the Father and Jesus Christ. I know that through Joseph Smith the gospel was restored to the earth yet again. I am grateful for his sacrifice to bring about the ordinances and covenants so that I can return to live with my Heavenly Father again. I know that there is a living prophet on the earth today and that his name is President Thomas S. Monson. I know that Jesus Christ lives and that He reigns in the heavens as the Lord of Lords, and the King of Kings. He is my Savior, my Redeemer, my Brother, my Friend. I know that He died for my sins and that through Him I can gain eternal life and return to live with my Father in Heaven again. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that a man can come closer to God by reading that book and applying its principles than any other book. I know that the Bible is also the word of God. I am currently reading it and I know that the truths testified in it are true. I love this gospel with all my heart and I am so grateful for this past conference weekend to listen to the prophets and apostles of our church.

Spring Break in Arizona
We had a blast over spring break. It is hard to be back home and back to the routine of things. I guess I live for vacations now when I get my husband to myself and we get to see our families. While there we ate out at too many good restaurants and I gained back 2 pounds that I am working so hard to get rid of now, we went to the zoo and loved seeing all the animals...everyone except Ellie poor girl, we watched Tyler in his race as school, we laughed and just had so much fun with Josh's family. Here are some pictures from our fun in the sun!
The last night there Jamie and Chris invited us out to dinner. We ate at the Cheesecake Factory (one of my favs) and had a great time being able to enjoy our food, talk together, and not have kids screaming....It was wonderful!!!
Tyler after his race. He got first! What a stud!

For our family vacation while on vacation we went with Josh's family down to Tombstone. It was an adventure to say the least. Not really worth the three hour drive to see it. But now I can say I have been there.

We went to some caves close by and that was definitely worth the three hour drive! They were so beautiful and amazing to see. This is a heart shaped cactus that Josh found.
At the zoo there was a thing that tells you how fast you are going. Well we convinced Tyler to run like in the Office and see how fast he could run. That made the day for me. It was so funny. I got a good laugh from Tyler.

Do I have any Boogers? Just Kidding.
The girls on the first day we got there. We really had so much fun. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for making it special for our fam! We also have some news to share...we are moving to Arizona for the summer and we are thrilled to pieces. Josh got a research position with an Orthopedic Surgeon there and it is a great opportunity so we are taken it!!!
