it started a little shaky at first...so many problems with the steepness of the roof

but the kids had fun as we made our 2010 gingerbread ski cabin

the sad part is in this construction we used candy that we had lying around the house...nothing was bought...mom has a weakness!

and of course a sled for the kids to go sledding. we love building a gingerbread house every year together as a family. you really cant beat the wonderful smell as the gingerbread bakes in your oven. we were worried we wouldn't fit it in the schedule before the kids and I left for christmas in washington but we stayed up late one night to finish the job. covered in frosting and stickiness the kids headed for baths with smiles on their faces and sugar on their lips.
